From no website to real bookings
| Role | Designed and built the web experience end-to-end: site, booking, payments, calendar and live class data. |
|---|---|
| Context | Satén Barre, a barre studio in Rincón de la Victoria, Málaga — my girlfriend's business. They had no website before this. |
| What I built | First-time online booking with Stripe payments, an integrated event calendar, and real-time class availability via the studio's TIMP API. |
| Status | Live at satenbarre.es and used for real studio bookings. |
A studio with no web presence
Satén Barre had no website. New clients could not find classes online, and booking meant a message or a phone call. The studio needed a first impression that matched the quality of the classes.
End-to-end, on the studio's real operations
The site is built around the studio's actual class schedule. The booking flow is for first-timers, who are the studio's growth channel.
- First-time booking flow with Stripe payments.
- Integrated calendar for events and classes.
- Real-time class and availability data connected to TIMP, the studio's existing system.
Modest features, real use
The features are deliberately modest — the story is not the tech. It is a real business with no web presence now running its online bookings through something I designed and built end-to-end. The studio uses it daily. This is my girlfriend's business, so it is transparently a family project rather than an independent client commission, and I make no claim about measured conversion improvements.
Methodology grounding: End-to-end web design and build; first-time booking flow; payments; integration with the studio's real class data.
